3D Product Visualisation for K&W
Studio Mitchell worked with K&W to develop a series of 3D product visualisations and animations across multiple consumer products, including two air fryer models and a slush machine.
The work supported not only marketing, but also early-stage product development — helping to define materials, colour schemes, and product presentation before manufacture.
The Challenge
The challenge was to create accurate, flexible product visuals that could be used across multiple stages of the product lifecycle — from early design decisions through to packaging, e-commerce, and promotional content.
The Approach
• Development of detailed 3D models for multiple product variants
• Working directly from SolidWorks engineering models, ensuring high levels of accuracy while keeping production efficient and cost-effective
• Iteration of materials, finishes, and colour schemes prior to production
• Creation of both still imagery and animation for different use cases
• Maintaining consistency across all product visuals for brand coherence
The Result
The project delivered a versatile set of assets used across multiple areas of the business:
• Product development — supporting material and colour decisions before manufacture
• Packaging and print — high-quality visuals used in manuals and product packaging
• E-commerce — product imagery for online listings and marketing
• Animation — feature demonstrations used for product launches and social media
How 3D Product Visualisation Helped
• Visualise products before manufacturing investment
• Rapid iteration of design decisions without physical prototypes
• Consistent, high-quality imagery across all channels
• Reusable assets across marketing and product lifecycle
