Led by Creative Director Mark Mitchell, the studio brings more than three decades of experience across moving image, visual effects and visual communication, with projects spanning marine, product, medical and automotive work.

Studio Mitchell creates animation and CGI to explain, demonstrate and communicate ideas that can be difficult, expensive or impossible to capture conventionally.
Projects range from product and technical visualisation to broadcast, commercial and specialist animation, combining creative direction with the production experience needed to take an idea through to finished film.
How we develop a project.
01 — Understand
Every project starts with understanding the subject, the audience and what the finished animation needs to communicate.
02 — Develop
Ideas are explored through research, visual development, storyboarding and early animation, establishing the right direction before full production begins.
03 — Produce
The project moves through CGI, animation, lighting, rendering and post-production to create the finished film.
A visual approach shaped by experience.
Mark’s early experience was gained working in the Art Department on 1980s pop video productions, where sets, props, composition and practical production were all part of creating an image for the screen.
As digital production developed, that experience moved increasingly into CGI, animation and visual effects. Over more than three decades, Studio Mitchell has worked across broadcast, advertising, product visualisation, technical communication and specialist animation for clients in the UK and internationally.
