Coronavirus COVID-19 image FREE
Studio Mitchell is offering this Coronavirus COVID-19 IMAGE FREE for use in digital or printed media.
Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness which include the common cold and more severe diseases such as MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV.
Coronavirus disease COVID-19 is a new strain that was discovered in 2019 and has not been previously identified in humans. Studio Mitchell has created a Coronavirus COVID-19 image here which is purely a visual depiction of the virus.
Coronaviruses are zoonotic, meaning they are transmitted between animals and people. Detailed investigations found that SARS-CoV was transmitted from cats to humans and MERS-CoV from camels to humans. Several known coronaviruses are circulating in animals that have not yet infected humans.
Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. In more severe cases, the infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure, and even death.
Standard recommendations to prevent infection spread include regular hand washing, covering mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, thoroughly cooking meat and eggs. Avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing.
Studio Mitchell has over 2 decades of professional 3D illustration experience and their illustration projects in the medical sector include ZeClinics amongst others. 3D visualisation is an effective way to communicate difficult to understand topics and hard to traditionally image (photographically) subject matter such as anatomy and pathology.
We hope this Coronavirus COVID-19 image will help with the visual communication of the virus.
