3D Marine Safety Animation
Studio Mitchell produced a 3D marine safety animation for the London P&I Club, designed to highlight the risks associated with poor cargo handling and improve awareness across maritime operations.
The Challenge
The project needed to communicate complex and potentially hazardous scenarios clearly, without relying on live-action footage that would have been impractical or unsafe to capture.
The Approach
The animation was developed around clarity rather than spectacle, using controlled 3D environments, carefully chosen camera positions and a visual style designed to make each safety scenario easy to understand.
The Result
The finished film provided clear, repeatable training content for maritime crews and was delivered in both English and Chinese for use across international teams.
How 3D Animation Helped
- visualised scenarios that could not be filmed safely
- controlled camera position and perspective
- created consistent training material for repeated use
