Studio Mitchell creates photorealistic CGI and animation for products, launches and visual campaigns.
Product visualisation can be used before photography is practical, before a product is manufactured, or when greater control is needed over materials, lighting, environments and presentation. From a single hero image to a complete animation, CGI gives a product a consistent visual language across different uses.
From Product Data to Finished Imagery
Where CAD or 3D data already exists, it can often provide the starting point for production.
Models can be prepared for visualisation, materials developed, surfaces refined and lighting designed around the character of the product. Where suitable source data is not available, products can also be modelled specifically for the project.
The aim is not simply to reproduce a product accurately, but to present it in the way the project requires.

Control Over Every Detail
CGI removes many of the practical limitations of conventional product photography.
Materials, finishes, colours, camera positions and environments can all be adjusted without rebuilding a physical shoot. Variants can be created from the same core asset, making it easier to maintain visual consistency across a range.
This can include:
- hero product imagery
- launch visuals
- product animation
- colour and material variants
- cutaways and internal views
- lifestyle and environmental CGI
- campaign imagery
- digital and presentation assets
Before the Product Exists
One of the strongest uses of product visualisation is the ability to create finished imagery while a product is still in development.
That can allow marketing, sales and presentation material to progress before prototypes or production units are available. It can also help teams review form, materials and presentation decisions in a more realistic context.
The same 3D asset can then continue into animation or additional campaign work as the project develops.
Product Animation
A still image can establish form and finish. Animation can go further by showing movement, interaction, assembly or features that are difficult to communicate in a single frame.
Camera movement, close-up detail and controlled transitions can be used to reveal the product progressively, whether for a launch film, website content, presentation or wider campaign.
Where needed, product CGI can also be combined with motion graphics, live action or visual effects.
Built for Reuse
A well-prepared product asset can support more than one deliverable.
Once the core model, materials and lighting have been established, the same asset can often be adapted for additional images, alternative formats, animation, campaign edits or future product variants.
This can make CGI particularly useful where a product needs a consistent visual presence across multiple channels.
Discuss a Product Visualisation Project
If you have CAD data, a prototype or a product still in development, Studio Mitchell can help determine the most effective way to visualise it.
