Studio Mitchell creates animation and CGI for television advertising, broadcast campaigns and commercial media.
Television projects often need to communicate quickly, look convincing on a large screen and work within tightly defined durations. We develop the visual approach around those requirements, whether the project calls for photorealistic CGI, technical visualisation, motion graphics, visual effects or a combination of techniques.
Animation and CGI for Broadcast
Broadcast animation has to do more than look good. It needs to communicate a clear idea within a limited amount of time and hold up visually alongside professionally produced live-action content.
Studio Mitchell can develop a television project from initial concept through to finished film, including visual development, storyboarding, 3D production, animation, compositing, motion graphics, sound and final delivery.
Where a product or process is difficult to film, CGI can be used to reveal internal components, demonstrate movement, visualise technical subjects or create imagery that would otherwise be impractical to produce.
Built Around the Message
Every television project starts with understanding what the audience needs to see and remember.
A 30-second commercial may require a very different approach from a longer explainer or campaign film. The challenge is often deciding what information is essential, how quickly it can be understood and which visual moments will carry the strongest message.
This can include:
- photorealistic 3D animation
- product visualisation
- technical and mechanical animation
- motion graphics and on-screen information
- CGI integration and visual effects
- compositing, sound and finishing
The result is a film structured around what the audience needs to understand and remember within the available running time.

Featured Project: Cataclean ITV4 Campaign
For Cataclean Global Ltd., Studio Mitchell created a 30-second CGI television commercial for broadcast on ITV4 during coverage of the British Touring Car Championship.
The project used detailed automotive CGI to demonstrate how the product works through the fuel and exhaust system, combining technical visualisation with a cinematic broadcast treatment.
A longer master animation was also produced so the material could continue to be used across trade shows, digital platforms, web and social media.
Broadcast Requirements and Delivery
Television projects often have fixed durations, delivery specifications and technical requirements that need to be considered from the start.
Picture format, audio, titles, legal copy and timing all need to work within the final broadcast specification, while the creative treatment still has to communicate clearly and hold attention.
Studio Mitchell can develop the animation and CGI with those constraints in mind, helping ensure the finished film is suitable for broadcast delivery as well as wider campaign use.
Discuss a Television Project
If you are developing a television commercial, broadcast campaign or animation-led film, Studio Mitchell can help shape the project from initial idea through to final production.
