This 7 second animation was created as a result of a client enquiry to create the shape of an object completely out of wire. Developing this concept further here we surface trace over a watering can replacing the wire with a vine growing organically in the style of time lapse footage. This technique could also be applied to creating veins on a body. The leaves can be substituted with other 3D objects.
